Well, people, it looks like you’re all in luck. The Republic of Virtue [RoV] is looking for new recruits! Anyone who gets the historical reference is given excessive amounts of faction...in our hearts. What kind of guild are we, you ask? Quite simply, my friends, we are a social guild of the highest order. Of course, by the highest order, I mean we’re elitist, grammar-using, intelligent pigs who like nothing more than to verbally bash those inside and outside of our own guild. In short, we’re a group of like-minded witty jackasses.

Are you tired of all of those guilds that do nothing but sit there proclaiming: “PVX | 37 FULL HALLS | VENT | TS | SITE | FORUM | PENTAGON ACCESS | LUXON | KURZICK | KURXON | PLAY FOR WIN | DON’T PLAY FOR FUN | PLAY FOR FUN AND WE KILL YOU | WE YELL AT YOU IF WE LOSE AN AB | BUY WAR BONDS”? The answer is yes. Frankly, we’re sick of all of this behavior.

It’s a game.

LIGHTEN UP!!

Stopping being so serious about winning and losing at something that’s meant to be fun! Go do some quests with the guildies! Cap some elites, farm some UW! But, for the love of God, just be casual! It’s not the end of the world if you have to go back into the Fissure of Woe a second time because your stupidass monk couldn’t heal himself. Well, that probably would be a rather large annoyance, but don’t go switching guilds because of one stupid monk. It’s a game, get over yourselves!

While we do intend to do casual PvP, casual help, casual runs, and casual PvE, etc., that isn’t our main purpose. Our main purpose is to get the wonderful, grammar-respecting, intelligent members of the Guild Wars community together into one lump of a social experience where you once felt alone. We do have some specific little requirements, of course:

1: You have to have a sense of humor (dark, preferably).
2: You must have a good tolerance for verbal assault (in return, the leader and officers won’t stop you from returning the favor ;3)
3: You must use at least respectable grammar in the presence of guildies. (Come on, people, it’s not that hard)
4: If you must sell your crap, only ask once. Our Guild chat doesn’t need your constant BS that belongs in Spamadan, if anywhere.
5: If you wanna ask for help, go right ahead, but don’t start begging to us. Casual guild, dammit! D:<
6: We accept RPers! Just don’t go in-character in the Guild Chat, please. Just ask if anyone wants to RP with you. >.>
7: Don’t just go out and insult the members. We accept dark, mean humor, but don’t just go out and say “Nobody in this guild likes you because all you do is effing complain, you never contribute anything, and you can’t play the goddamn game!” That’s the job of the officers, damn you! D:<
